Why Ellagic Acid?

A Natural Cancer Formula with Exceptionally High Antioxidants

Qty:
Ellagic Acid is a naturally occurring constituent found in 46 different fruits, nuts, pomegranate seeds, red raspberry seeds, and blueberries. Clinical studies have shown Ellagic acid to prevent cancer and to arrest the growth of cancer. It has anti-viral and anti-bacterial properties. Many of the other components in this formula are extremely high in antioxidant values. Clinical tests have shown the prevention of the destruction of the p53 gene by cancer cells. Nine years of study with ellagic acid shows a G-arrest within 48 hours (inhibiting and stopping mitosis-cancer cell division) and apoptosis (normal cell death) within 72 hours for breast, pancreas, esophageal, skin, colon, and prostate cancer cells. The research in reversing other cancers is very promising.

Red Raspberry Seed Extract- A naturally occurring phenolic compound. Ellagic Acid from Red Raspberries is highly concentrated. Ellagic Acid from red raspberry seeds is one of the most important nutritional discoveries in the last decade. Ellagic Acid is showing incredible results from several studies dating back to the early 90's. Some studies indicate ellagic acid from red raspberry seeds possess anti_carcinogen, anti_mutagen, and anti_cancer initiator properties. There are several different sources for the red raspberry extract powder. The most popular is from red raspberry seeds because most the studies were performed using ellagic acid from red raspberries. There are also several different levels of quality in red raspberry powder. The cost of powder from the red raspberry seed is about ten times the cost of a cheap red raspberry powder and far more effective.

Pomegranate Seed Extract- The same ellagitannins that are found in Raspberries are also in Pomegranate seeds but in a much higher concentration. The natural phenolics in Pomegranates are proven anti-carcinogens, anti-mutagens, and anti-cancer initiators.

Graviola- This herb is from a small evergreen tree from the Amazon whose leaves are believed to offer immune, circulatory and lymphatic support. Research since the 1940s has validated and expanded understanding of this herb and its unique phyto-nutritional qualities. Being 10,000 times stronger in killing colon cancer cells than Adriamycin (a commonly used chemotherapeutic drug). * Selectively hunt down and kill cancer cells without harming healthy cells, unlike chemotherapy. In a 1976 plant screening program by the National Cancer Institute, the leaves and stem of Graviola showed active cytotoxicity against cancer cells and researchers have been following up on this research ever since. Much of the research on Graviola focuses on a novel set of phytochemicals called annonaceous acetogenins. The potent antitumor, pesticidal and/or insect antifeedant properties of these annonaceous acetogenins have been reported and patented. Graviola produces these natural compounds in leaf, bark and twig tissues, and they have be documented to possess both highly anti-tumor and pesticidal properties. All parts of the Graviola tree are used in natural medicine in the tropics including the bark, leaves, roots, fruit and fruit-seeds. Different properties and uses are attributed to the different parts of the tree. Graviola has a long rich history of use in herbal medicine as well as a long recorded indigenous use. In the Peruvian Andes, a leaf tea is used for catarrh and the crushed seed is used to kill parasites In the Peruvian Amazon the bark roots and leaves are used for diabetes and as a sedative and antispasmodic. Indigenous tribes in Guyana use a leaf and/or bark tea of Graviola as a sedative and heart tonic. In the Brazilian Amazon, a leaf tea is used for liver problems and the oil of the leaves and unripe fruit is mixed with olive oil and used externally for neuralgia, rheumatism and arthritis pain. In Jamaica, Haiti and the West Indies, the fruit and/or fruit juice is used for fevers, parasites, as a lactagogue, and diarrhea; and the bark or leaves are used as an antispasmodic, sedative, and nervine for heart conditions, coughs, grippe, difficult childbirth, asthma, asthenia, hypertension and parasites.

Vitamin E (d-Alpha Tocopherol) - Fat soluble and specially suited to protect the oily portion of the body's cells. The body needs a combination of oil and water soluble antioxidants. Essential for health in the adrenal and pituitary glands. It improves circulation and is necessary for tissue healing and repair. Inhibits oxidation of lipids (fats) and the formation of free radicals. It protects other fat soluble vitamins and retards aging. D-Alpha Tocopherols are considered the most potent form of all of the vitamin E molecules.

Ascorbic Acid- This water soluble vitamin is well known for it's ability to advance wound healing. Vitamin C supplementation is said to moderate the severity of the common cold and reduce intraocular pressure in glaucoma, the inflammation of periodontal disease and intolerance to heat. Vitamin C which helps concentrate vasodilating prostaglandins to help relieve chest tightness in asthmatics. It can help to reduce serum cholesterol and triglyceride levels, which are risk factors in heart disease and atherosclerosis. Vitamin C is essential in replacing and strengthening connecting tissues of the body. As an antioxidant, it can reduce the effects of pollution, antibiotics, steroids, oral contraceptives, smoking cigarettes and cancer.

Vitamin A- Best known for its anti-infection and night vision properties. Necessary in bone and teeth development. Helps form connective tissue for a framework of skeletal tissue. Vitamin A is considered to be a powerful free radical scavenger. It is the body's first line of defense against invading microorganisms and toxins. Vitamin A promotes the immune response and the bioflavonoids found in Vitamin A are highly effective in maintaining cell nutrition.

Selenium- Strengthens the immune system by increasing antibody production in the body. It helps the body utilize oxygen and assists growth. Inhibits oxidation of lipids (fats). It works in tandem with Vitamin E very effectively. Prevents free radicals.

Grape Seed Extract 95%- The antioxidant properties in oligomere-proanthocyanadins OPCs are higher than most components found in the world. A true 95% extract is more concentrated than cheap "want-a-be" OPCs. Even higher than Pycnogenols or pine bark with no harmful residues. It works to correct free radical damage and as a free radical fighter corrects problems as they find them..

Resveratrol- Resveratrol (trans-3,5,4'-trihydroxystilbene), a compound found largely in the skins of red grapes, is a component of Ko-jo-kon, an oriental medicine used to treat diseases of the blood vessels, heart, and liver. It came to scientific attention only four years ago, however, as a possible explanation for the "French Paradox" -- the low incidence of heart disease among the French people, who eat a relatively high-fat diet. Today, it is touted by manufacturers and being examined by scientific researchers as an antioxidant, an anti-cancer agent, and a phytoestrogen. http://www.lighthousehealth.com/sixtymin.htmlThere is much current research on resveratrol's physiologic activity.

Green Tea Extract- Green tea extract is a bioflavonoid rich, potent extract used primarily for fighting free radicals. It contains a high content of polyphenols, which are a class of bioflavonoids. Green tea extract contains a potent antioxidant, EGCG, which is over 200 times more powerful than vitamin E in neutralizing the pro-oxidants and free radicals that attack lipids in the brain. This important ingredient, Epigallocatechin Gallate (EGCG), protects against digestive and respiratory infections, helps to block the cancer promoting actions of carcinogens, protects against high total and LDL cholesterol levels, and blocks the attachment of the bacteria associated with dental cavities to the teeth.

Quercetin- Quercetin is a natural flavonoid widely spread in the plant kingdom. It is a polyphenolic antioxidant naturally presented in vegetables, tea and red wine. In food Quercetin occurs as glycosides. Chemically, Quercetin is an aglucon of rutin and of other glycosides. Quercetin is a strong antioxidant and radical scavenger, has cardiovascular activity reducing the risk of death from coronary heart disease and decreasing the incidence of myocardial infarction. Quercetin has many pharmacological properties, such as: anti-inflammatory activity, anti-carcinogenic, acts on immune system, has antiviral activity, reducing effects on the formation of diabetic cataracts. Quercetin is hepato-protective and gastro-protective and has many uses in medicine mainly in treatments of circulatory and capillary disorders, including inflammations of any kind.

Enzyme and Mineral Blend- Most of NutraPerfect products contain a uniquely formulated blend of enzymes and minerals to more effectively "trigger" those enzymes to function. The primary reason for the inclusion of enzymes in a formula is to get all of the components broken down for better assimilation and absorption into the body's tissues.
