This antioxidant herb tea is categorized in the mega-antioxidant class. It has been found to have 5000 times the Super Oxide Dismutases (SOD), the prime free radical fighter, than any other plant in the world. It is a naturally grown dark green bush in the mountains of South Africa that after ripening, develops a reddish brown color which gives the plant its name, Red Bush or Rooibos. SODs also assist fats from changing into harmful lipid peroxide. Obviously, an excellent cholesterol reducer.

Why is this Rooibos different from others? It's concentrated! One tea bag to one/half gallon of water. To preserve the effective ingredients, the tea bag should steep in water without boiling.
