Multivitamins should have minerals in them. They should be food grade and not synthetic. Without minerals, the multi will not absorb very well. Since there are 12 essential vitamins and 17 essential minerals that your body requires daily, it would seem imperative to have a multi that has them all in the formula. Many fall short. It is hard to determine if our foods we eat have them all in them either. This is why we supplement.
Even though we try to eat good wholesome food, often the foods are not containing the elements (vitamins and minerals) they are supposed to have. Unfortunately, synthetic vitamins and minerals are produced by many companies because they are cheap to make. The FDA in their "infinite wisdom" (tongue in cheek) does not require companies to label whether the multi is synthetic or not.
My formulated VitaPerfect is not synthetic and is food grade. It also has all of the vitamins and minerals your body requires daily. It can be found in health stores and on-line at www.nutraperfect.com.
